Intro Post:How I Plan to get my WLE, Oct. 26

The type of internship i am looking for involves music and how it is produced in studios. So far I have looked for many places as possible and then to day i plan to call at least three. A leadership skill i could use is communicate effectively and I would use this is by talking to the person in a professional manor in order to get the internship.

Post 1 Finding WLE Oct. 29

That day i had spent the day at home calling and e-mailing to find an internship that involved being in a recording studio. The reason i didn't go to my WLE because I didn't have one by Oct. 29 and that I tried calling people, but some didn't answer and did not reply so on and so forth. Trying to find a studio that would have an intern.

The person who benefits from me being at the WLE is Sal the engineer who works there. He mostly benefits because how if he is absent from the studio he count on me to be there and cover for him.  What they do really well is how they do their job it shows that even its in a warehouse they still do recordings and track mastering like people who work at larger more renowned studios.

Post 4 Friday Dec. 10th, Leadership Skills

Collaborate Productively and how I am using that is by talking with Sal to make sure how i can record things the right way and how to mic a drum set and how we both could make tracks with only two people. How to communicate powerfully and how  I am gaining that skill is by talking to people to make sure how loud they want their system or if they want a drum track done differently. I would guess all but I  am not really sure. For one a role as an intern is easier than being a student. The reason why is because there is not so much work but enough to keep you active in the workplace.

Post 9 Description of my workplace

My workplace is a recording studio in Hayward. It is located in a warehouse and as you walk in there is a couch and then as you go further into the hallway you see a microwave and some other things like a vending machine and a dishwasher. After all that there are three doors one is to the bathroom. The one next to that is the control room now in the control is one control panel and behind that is two computer screens which are connected to a mac tower and then the other to an hp which is below the control panel. Also in that room is a chest that had othe rstuff on top of it and also hooked up to the computers are multiple speakers.
The third door leads to the live room and the isolation booth. In the live room is a 5 piece drum kit with cymbals also is a bass amp with a sound control panel and the with other systems that help power the rooms lights.  Another is a keyboard and then the computer that holds all the songs that have been recorded over time by my mentor Sal and Theo who have also included Nik Dun and I in their previous recordings and some recordings me and Nik have created on our own. In the isolation booth there is a microphone and a mesa boogie combo valve amp.
In the studio in depends sometimes its 3 to 5 people in there or less. This is a small business. My workplace does recordings and rehearsals for bands which a majority are christian bands. They tend to want to employ people with good vibes and have a creativity for music. I'm not exactly sure what type of degree the people working there have.
